Honest ranges, not fake precision

Private by default
Your photos and history live in the private app container on your phone. No account, no cloud sync, no behavioral analytics. AI access is granted once, revocable in Settings, and every photo upload still requires you to tap Analyze.

Opt-in AI trend insights
When you tap Analyze, you get an encouraging, non-medical read of what's visibly changed — with a disclaimer on every result. Two analyses are included free.
Honest body-fat ranges
A broad range with a confidence level and caveats, never a fake-precise number. An optional profile (height, weight, sex, age) sharpens the range locally and is never sent by MeThen to its AI or servers.
Deep Compare (Pro, iOS)
On iOS, a signed body-fat delta is computed from both check-ins' photos. Each comparison asks for its own consent, and EXIF data is stripped before anything uploads. This feature is not in the current Android release.
Backdated camera-roll import
Already have months of progress photos? Import them from your camera roll and backdate them to build your timeline from day one.
Private by default
Photos and check-ins stay in the private app container on your phone by default. No account or behavioral analytics; content is sent only for an AI action or optional report you start.
What's intentionally not here
Progress photos are personal. The list of things MeThen doesn't do is part of the design.
No account
Open the app and take your first check-in. There is nothing to sign into and no cloud sync — your photos live on your phone.
No behavioral analytics, ads, or tracking
No product-usage analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking. Technical service diagnostics and anonymous subscription analytics are disclosed in the privacy policy.
No fake-precise numbers
You will never see a made-up decimal point. Estimates are broad ranges with confidence and caveats, because that's what photos can honestly support.
No silent photo uploads
A normal analysis requires remembered, revocable consent plus an explicit Analyze tap. The iOS-only Deep Compare feature asks again, separately, every time.

Capturing, journaling, and comparing are free and unlimited. Pro exists for the AI features that cost real money to run.

Your photos stay yours
On-device by default, with no account, behavioral analytics, ads, or tracking. AI photo uploads require your action, strip EXIF/GPS data, and aren't used to train models; the privacy policy explains the bounded text context and temporary provider retention.
Tracking should feel good
