GoofCam
Make a face. Make their day.
A live camera full of animal lenses, costumes, silly faces and colorful effects that react when you open your mouth, smile, wink or shake your head. Take a photo, remix that same photo with another lens, add a frame, then save it or share the laugh.
25 camera effects
Whole-picture looks from Vintage and Comic to Thermal, Pixel and Kaleidoscope, with an intensity slider. Mix one with any lens.
5 photo frames
Finish a photo with Instant, Cover Star, Wanted, Trading Card or Comic Panel.
Your face drives the fun
- Open your mouth
- Puppy tongues, lion roars, rainbow streams and crystal sparks.
- Smile
- Brighten a halo, shimmer moth wings, or bring out the sun in Mood Weather.
- Wink
- Fire Laser Eyes from one eye at a time.
- Shake your head
- Spin the stars around your head in Dizzy.
Pick from featured looks, favorites, categories or Surprise Me. A three-second timer gives you time to get into the shot, and every photo opens in a review screen before you choose Save or Share. GoofCam takes still photos; it does not record video.
Free, with one optional unlock
GoofCam is free to download. 35 lenses, every camera effect and the Instant frame are free to use. GoofCam Pro is a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks taking photos with the 10 Pro lenses and using the 4 Pro frames. Free photos carry a small goofcam mark when saved or shared; Pro removes it. Every lens, Pro included, can be tried live in the camera for free before you decide.

Your camera stays on your phone
Camera frames and face tracking are processed on your device and never uploaded to LightPath. Photos are saved to your photo library only when you tap Save, and shared only with the apps you pick. There are no ads, no accounts and no LightPath servers. The privacy policy covers the details, including the on-device Google face-detection library the Android app uses.
GoofCam is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. The Android version, for Android 10 or later, is still being tested and is not on Google Play yet.
