Photograph
Take a photo of any household item with your phone's camera or select one from your gallery.
AI Identifies
Our AI analyzes the image to identify the item's brand, model, era, and condition.
See the Evidence
WhatsWorth pairs its AI estimate with source-linked market references when available. A reference is treated as sold only when both its price and sold status are supported; otherwise the app shows the gap.
Key Features
AI-Powered Identification
Advanced AI identifies items from photos: brand, model, era, category, and condition notes.
Source-Backed Solds, Honest Gaps
A reference is treated as sold only when the source supports both its price and sold status. Unsupported references stay out of comparable-based calculations.
Sell Recommendations
Get personalized advice on where and how to sell, donate, or recycle each item.
Item Inventory
Save appraised items to your personal inventory. Track status, mark items as sold, and record sale prices.
Cloud Sync
Sign in with Google or Apple to sync your inventory across devices. Toggle sync on or off anytime.
Closer-Look Extra Photo

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate are the valuations?
WhatsWorth identifies the item and generates an AI value estimate. When available, source-linked market references provide context. A reference is treated as sold only when both its price and sold status are supported; unsupported rows stay out of comparable-based calculations.
What items can it appraise?
WhatsWorth works with most household items: electronics, collectibles, antiques, furniture, tools, clothing, books, toys, kitchenware, and more. It works best with items that are commonly bought and sold online.
Is this a professional appraisal?
No. WhatsWorth provides estimates for personal use: great for garage sales, decluttering, estate clean-outs, or curiosity. For insurance, legal, or tax purposes, consult a certified appraiser.
How much does it cost?
You get 5 free identifications without an account, or 10 per month with a free account. WhatsWorth Unlimited removes the identification limit for AI value estimates; source-linked market references still depend on available supporting evidence. Subscriptions start at $2.99/week, $4.99/month, or $29.99/year.
What happens to my photos?
Images and descriptions are analyzed using cloud-based AI services hosted on Google Cloud Platform. If you use WhatsWorth without signing in, photos are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers. If you sign in, we keep compressed copies in your private cloud storage. Deleting an item starts device-driven cleanup, which may be delayed or missed if the app cannot reconnect. Deleting your account erases cloud backups server-side within 30 days.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use WhatsWorth anonymously with 5 free identifications. Creating a free account (Google or Apple sign-in) gives you 10 identifications per month and enables cloud sync across devices.
