Ratings Rumble Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
Ratings Rumble is a free cyberpunk arena game by LightPath Apps, available on the web and in native mobile shells. This policy explains what the game sends off your device and how it is used.
The mobile release supports local play without an account. Online play, chat, and public leaderboards are unavailable in this release. The account and online-data sections below describe the web account features.
Information you provide
If you use online play, we receive the username, display name, email address, and password needed to create or access an account. Passwords are sent to the authentication service and are not retained by the game client. The service stores account credentials and session information to keep your account secure.
Online game data
Online play sends account or user IDs, lobby and matchmaking state, gameplay events, scores, and chat messages so multiplayer, rankings, and moderation can work. Supporter Pack entitlement history and cosmetic preferences are also associated with an account.
Local data
Single-player progress, settings, and native WebView session state may be stored locally on your device. Android builds disable automatic backup and device-to-device transfer for this data. Signing out removes the stored session from the client.
Payments
The web version may offer a Supporter Pack through Stripe Checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted page; Ratings Rumble does not receive or store card numbers. Native mobile builds do not offer this web checkout. Mobile Supporter Pack purchases use Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing. The game requests the product and price, verifies store ownership, and restores purchases using your store account. Apple maintains verified transactions on the device; Android stores a signed Google Play purchase receipt locally for offline access and refreshes ownership when connected. These mobile purchase records are not sent to our game backend. We do not receive your store password or payment card details. Apple and Google process purchases under their respective privacy policies.
Mobile purchase analytics
We use RevenueCat to validate and analyze mobile purchases and receive purchase notifications. Its SDK sends an anonymous app-install identifier, store and product identifiers, purchase receipts or tokens, purchase and restore events, prices and currency, storefront country, and app/device platform information to RevenueCat. These records help us understand sales and resolve purchase issues. We do not supply your name, email, advertising identifier, precise location, or game progress. RevenueCat analytics does not decide whether the game unlocks a verified store purchase. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Third-party services
We use an authentication/game backend for online features and Stripe for web checkout. The mobile builds bundle the game's fonts and do not fetch them from a third-party font service. The web version currently online at ratings-rumble.pages.dev is an older build that loads its Orbitron display font from Google Fonts; Google may process network information, such as your IP address, needed to serve that resource. See each provider's privacy policy for its practices.
Tracking and advertising
Ratings Rumble does not use personal data for cross-app tracking and does not include advertising SDKs.
Your choices
You can play locally without creating an account, sign out of online play, or request account deletion using our account-deletion page.
For a request about mobile purchase records, contact us with the store transaction or order ID, purchase date, and platform so we can locate the records. Never send your store password or payment-card details. Some transaction records may need to be retained for financial or legal reasons.
Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, email [email protected]. Include the account email or username needed to find the account, but never send a password. This policy describes the game; visiting this website is also covered by the LightPath Apps website privacy policy.
Changes
We will update this page when the game's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
