Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LightPath Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our") concerning your use of the Cuzzles — Photo Jigsaw app (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the App.

Description of Service

Cuzzles is a photo jigsaw puzzle app that turns photos you choose into interlocking jigsaw puzzles, created and stored on your device, with offline gameplay, a Daily Puzzle, and optional premium features. Cuzzles is coming soon to the Apple App Store (iPhone and iPad) and Google Play (Android). These Terms apply to both platforms once they launch.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Free Tier and Advertising

The free version of the App is supported by advertising served by third-party providers (currently Google AdMob). Ads are removed entirely by purchasing Cuzzles Premium (see below). We reserve the right to change pricing, feature availability, and tier composition at any time, subject to applicable platform policies and the Changes to Terms section below.

In-App Purchase: Cuzzles Premium

The App offers a single optional in-app purchase, Cuzzles Premium — a one-time, non-consumable purchase priced at $14.99 (local pricing may vary by region and store). Cuzzles Premium removes ads and unlocks the 96-piece puzzle tier. It is not a subscription: there is no recurring charge and nothing auto-renews.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase, and is processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment details.
  • On the App Store, Family Sharing is enabled: the purchase may be shared with members of your family group under Apple's Family Sharing rules.
  • The purchase can be restored on your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account.
  • All purchases are final. Refund requests are handled by Apple (for App Store purchases) or Google (for Google Play purchases) under their respective policies, and must be directed to them.

Intellectual Property Rights

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LightPath Apps LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the photos you use in the App. The App does not claim any ownership over your photos or the puzzles created from them, all of which are processed and stored on your device.

Your Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
  • Ensure you have the right to use any photos you turn into puzzles with the App
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
  • Not attempt to circumvent technical protections, purchase checks, advertising, or platform-imposed restrictions

Your Photos

Cuzzles creates puzzles from photos you explicitly select. By using the App, you understand that:

  • Puzzle creation and storage happen locally on your device — your photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared by the App
  • Deleting a puzzle in the App does not affect the original photo in your library
  • Uninstalling the App deletes the App's on-device data, including your puzzles and progress

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Every photo will produce a puzzle that renders perfectly in every edge case
  • Daily Puzzle streaks, completions, or other locally stored progress will survive device loss, damage, or reset
  • The App will be compatible with every future version of iOS, iPadOS, or Android

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LIGHTPATH APPS LLC, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data or content, including puzzles and progress
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Any damages arising from third-party advertising shown in the App
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LightPath Apps LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Venue and Forum

Any judicial proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Time Limit on Claims

Any claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App must be filed within one (1) year of the date the claim or cause of action arose, regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
