Sand Sort Studio Privacy Policy

The short version

Sand Sort Studio: Color Puzzle is a single-player puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and Mac by LightPath Apps LLC. It has no ads, accounts, analytics, tracking or chat. Levels 1 to 50, daily puzzles and all help are free. One optional App Store purchase unlocks campaign levels 51 to 500. Your puzzle progress stays on your device and in its backups. The game does not send your save or purchase information to LightPath.

What the game keeps on your device

The game saves levels solved, stars, unfinished attempts, recent puzzles, daily completion dates, journal totals and settings in private storage. It also keeps when you played recently and when it last asked for an App Store review, so it asks rarely. Sounds and artwork are bundled with the app. Each device keeps its own progress. LightPath cannot see, recover or delete your save.

The one-time unlock

Apple handles payment and the purchasing Apple Account. The game asks StoreKit for the local App Store price, to buy or restore the unlock, and for verified ownership. Buying and restoring require an internet connection. Ordinary play works offline. StoreKit keeps signed transactions on your device so an existing unlock can work offline; ownership is never granted by a puzzle backup. Refunds or revocations reported by Apple close paid campaign access while retaining your progress.

LightPath never receives payment card details. Apple provides sales, financial and refund reports to developers; we use these for payouts, taxes, refunds and support. Apple processes payments and purchase records under its own terms and privacy policy. Reinstall using the same purchasing Apple Account and choose Restore purchase to restore eligible access. Apple's purchase approval and parental controls apply.

Permissions and backups

The game does not ask for location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, notifications, tracking or an advertising identifier. Optional haptics use supported hardware. iCloud Backup or computer backups can include the iPhone or iPad save; Time Machine can include the Mac save. Apple controls these services. LightPath cannot access your backups. There is no account or progress-sync service operated by LightPath.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove its local data on iPhone or iPad. On Mac, delete the app and its com.lightpathapps.sandsort container in your Library. An older backup may restore progress. Deleting local data does not delete Apple's purchase records; those follow Apple's policies.

The App Store

Apple delivers and updates the game. Apple may provide aggregate download and ratings information and crash reports from people who choose to share diagnostics. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy. The game includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDK.

Support and children

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and message and use them to reply and keep ordinary support records. Please do not send sensitive information. The game has no chat, social links, ads or player accounts. Apple handles purchase accounts and parental purchase approval. A parent or guardian can contact us with questions.

Changes

If a future version handles data differently, we will update this policy and the App Store disclosures before release.
